Rattunde Corp., the Caledonia, Mich., arm of a Germany-based manufacturer of finished-length tube and solid bar production systems, has announced the opening of a facility in Monterrey/Apodaca, Mexico.

This 8,073-sq.-ft. tech center houses the Mexico sales and service operations, application engineering, and spare parts inventory. Two service technicians are now in Mexico, one operating from the new tech center and another based in Guadalajara. The firm plans to add an on-site machine in 2017 for demonstration and training.
